SLG is a full service General Contracting & Construction Management firm specializing in commercial interiors and large infrastructure upgrades. Our expertise is robust, including all architectural, MEPS, structural, and IT/AV trades. This enables us to provide clients with many layers of service, including turn-key projects. Our customer base is made up of both private industry and public sector entities.

 

SLG also caters to a select group of residential clientele. Our main areas of operation are in the five boroughs of New York City, Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, Jersey City and Northern New Jersey, as well as Westchester County.

SLG is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), recognized by The City of New York, The State of New York, and the Dormitory Authority State of New York (DASNY). We currently have applications pending with The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, VENDEX, and The Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD).

 

COMMERCIAL DIVISION
Public agencies and private firms are under increased pressure to improve their operational efficiency and lower costs relating to their physical plant. In many cases, the best way to accomplish this is through contracting services and forming alliances with capable, multidimensional construction firms. SLG fills this need, by serving as the primary point of responsibility, aligning the efforts of architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project-team associates. We employ proven building systems to control the complex interfaces of today’s jobs. Our mission is to add value by reducing costs, improving schedule adherence, and continuously improving the quality of deliverables.

 

Since many of our commercial construction projects require MBE utilization, SLG has obtained the MBE Designation as a General Contractor in New York City, and endeavors to identify and hire the top MBE subcontractors in their respective trades to help maximize our clients’ ability to meet these requirements.

 

RESIDENTIAL DIVISION

SLG, LLC provides the same General Contracting and Management services for Residential Clients, where our residential construction projects tend to be high-end luxury renovations in the $1-2 million range. We apply the same attention to overseeing the Prime subcontractors and managing schedules and budgets; the difference comes in the area of specialization for these subcontractors.
